What is Twitter and how will it help my business?

Twitter is an online social networking service that allows you to send and receive text messages of up to 140 characters. For businesses it is ideal for building brand awareness and attracting new clients. It's also great for listening to and finding out about your customers.

You can post messages (tweets) from your mobile phone or computer. If you post tweets that people want to read they will follow you. Your tweets will take your followers to your website or Facebook page and encourage them to become customers.
